GPS is hosting CBSE CLUSTER IX continuously for the 5th time from 09.10.09 to 12.10.09. 18 Girls team & 21 Boys team from different regions of Western Zone participated in the Cluster - IX Championship. The winners among the girls team were:- New Era School, Vadodara and the winner among boys term is Center Point School, Nagpur. The Runner Up team among girls team - Navarachana School, Vadodara & among boys Gujarat Public School, Vadodara.

Baroda Lions Club conducted elocution competition on which our student Janvi Trivedi got 2nd runners up under the title Man, Media & money on 3rd October 2009.

On 25th & 26th of September District Sports organisation conducted athletic meet.Our children have got gold medals for the following events and got selected for the state level.

Parth patel of std X for shot put throw, Pradeep Rathore of std X for 5000 mt running. Avani Patel of std IX for shotput throw and Zeel Trivedi of std IX for Javelian throw.

National Karate championship was held for under - 9 students in which Arushi bhargav of IV- A got I prize among girls & Manav Solanki has got I prize with 2 gold medals.

Singing birds are nestling in our school. Surbhi Uppu of standard III B got I prize in singing contest conducted by spencers group.

On 10th January 2010, Western Railways conducted school based competitions on the eve of Celebrations of Indian Railways 150th year establishment of Vadodara Railway Station, our school students participated & won prizes in Quiz & Drawing competition.

The children are motivated by scholarship they received. Master. Kunalshirsalh of Standard 6th received scholarship from HDFC Bank of Rs.2,500.

On 29th Jan 2010 Frame work youth expressions organized story writing competition. Aarsh Desai of VIII CBSE, Zeel Trivedi of IX A GSEB, Druvil Shah GSEB of VIII B got prizes and their stories were selected for publication by the company.

Ashtha Bhandari, Tanay Satarkar of XI Science GSEB, Devika and Aishwarya raja of XI Science CBSE participated in Pancham 2009 and got trophy for a working project.

Students of GPS got the rolling trophy for On the spot essay writing competition conducted by united way of Baroda ,on 20th feb 2010. Zeel Trivedi of IX A got 2nd prize and best performance in school for the competition.
